Shipley’s Bingo is renowned as a building full of life and activity but still filled with a sense of fun and hospitality for all walks of people. Shipley’s Bingo is well-positioned on Oxford Street with an expansive parking facility for the motor public.
The first thing that caught my attention when I entered Shipley’s Bingo was the cheerful colors and welcoming décor. The large and spacious room was clean and well-lit, with cozy seating and sufficient tables for the players to use. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making every player feel comfortable asking for assistance if they needed it.
There are plenty of games of diversity at the Shipley’s Bingo clubs for professionals and amateurs alike. The touch of 90-ball bingo traditional was maintained by the bingo hall while maintaining interest with other variations, such as Speed Bingo and Bingo 80. Day and night, there are several sessions spread out often enough to find space in anyone’s calendar. Ticket prices are not exorbitant and would not cheat anyone out of their wallets for some entertainment.
Shipley’s Bingo’s best assets are likely its electronic bingo terminals, through which the players can take part in numerous games simultaneously without having to actually play cards. The machines themselves are simple to operate, since easy instructions are given; and of extremely useful assistance are the employees who have been hired particularly to assist the players through the terminal operation. With numbers being announced and possible wins being displayed on a digital display screen with an LED background, the excitement of the games is definitely going to be heightened.
Otherwise, if someone is not in the mood for bingo, there is a group of slot machines at Shipley’s Bingo if someone does want to get a turn. There are more than enough machines to have your own preference and one that accommodates more or less every category. Personally, I found the slots to be a nice little distraction from the bingo games without cutting too much into the bingo action itself while still giving me a chance to mix up my experience gambling a little bit.
The snack bar, worth mentioning, has on the menu hot and cold drinks, light snacks, and snacks moderately priced but of quality to bite into between games. The staff at the snack bar is courteous and quick enough to allow the players to charge up without missing their share of action.
My experience at Shipley’s Bingo in Kidderminster was a good one. It is a cozy establishment with plenty of bingo games to choose from, and a more than helpful staff that does everything possible to ensure that every player is having a good time. For the seasoned bingo fan or for anyone who just wants to try his hand at a busy night, Shipley’s Bingo is highly recommended.
